Homemade Cereal/Granola

This is one of my favorite cereals. It consist of the following ingredients: oatmeal, honey and oil. Heat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine 6 cups of oatmeal, 1/2 cup of honey and 1/2 cup of oil in a sheet pan. Bake for 15 minutes and mix and then for another 15 minutes. Turn off the oven and let the cereal sit a couple of hours to crisp up.

I eat this several ways with yogurt, with milk, add fruits and nuts or just eat a handful of yumminess by itself.

The First Dress I sewed

My passion for sewing was influenced by my Grandma, Auntie Becca and my Mom. My Mom and I would often go to the fabric district in downtown LA or to the local swap meet to purchase fabric. Many days we would spend time in my Aunties small shop watching her sew. When it was almost my Bday, I asked my brother Fred to buy me either a door for the garage or a sewing machine. To my surprise, Ate Tasha (my sister in law) and my brother sent me a brand spanking new sewing machine. I loved it! I was never trained or went to school but I learned to sew by years of watching my family sew. Here is the first dress I made, without any pattern and with just my imagination.
